Our Mirador de Segura Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from Chiclana de Segura, in the heart of the Sierra de Segura (Jaén), and is the fruit of a family farm with centuries-old olive trees that are lovingly tended by two young farmers.
Our oil is protected by the Sierra de Segura Designation of Origin, a seal that guarantees its authentic origin and excellence. Each bottle of Mirador de Segura bears its corresponding numbered back label with the symbol of the squirrel, the emblem of the Designation, as proof that it has passed the strictest quality controls.
Our Mirador de Segura oil has Early Harvest Certification, which ensures that our EVOO is obtained from green or ripening olives, always harvested before 30 November, when the fruit offers its maximum richness in aroma, flavour and natural antioxidants. In 2025, the harvest took place between 9 and 12 October.
An early Picual EVOO with its own character and identity. Its intense green colour, fresh aroma of freshly cut grass and tomato, and slight bitterness and balanced pungency reflect the purity of the environment in which it is produced: a mountain olive grove at an altitude of over 900 metres, on steep slopes and in an extreme climate.
These natural conditions reduce production but increase the concentration of polyphenols and antioxidants, making our oil a real treasure for your health.
Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil stands out not only for its flavour, but also for its health benefits.
Rich in monounsaturated fats and vitamin E. Helps maintain a healthy heart and protect cells from ageing.
High in natural polyphenols. It has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, helping to prevent cardiovascular disease and strengthen the immune system.
At Mirador de Segura, we believe that quality begins in the field. That is why we take care of every detail: from harvesting by hand, ensuring that the olives do not touch the ground, to immediate cold pressing, preserving the fruit’s properties to the maximum.
We firmly believe that family tradition and agricultural innovation must coexist in order to produce an exceptional oil that reflects the essence of our land and the efforts of those who work it day after day.
“Every drop of our EVOO is a tribute to our roots, to our grandparents' centuries-old olive trees and to a landscape that we carry within us, that of the Sierra de Segura.”
